INDEVA SysDesign’s goal has always been to ensure and increase safety within factories through state-of-the-art logistics automation solutions. To this end, we continue to invest significant resources by developing the latest proven design techniques and structuring high-level training courses.
Automated guided vehicles (AGVs) are moving systems that operate within a large area, including that adjacent to production lines, warehouse and loading bays. Disruption of the “line” does not necessarily stop the movement of AGVSs as well. Safety therefore becomes a priority. To this end, SysDesign performs numerous activities before, during, and after system installation.
- Research and development activities to ensure that systems and design methods are state-of-the-art and implemented using the latest technologies;
- Presales analysis by System Engineers to perform, based on specific customer requirements, (available space, logistics flows, and, in the case of warehouses, inventory/ SKU requirements), an initial assessment of the activities necessary to ensure maximum safety within the facility;
- Inspections at the customer’s plant so as to reduce possible risks;
- Dedicated safety training programs to prepare clients regarding best operating practices.
