Continuing its expansion project in products and systems for smart factories, SysDesign Srl joins the INDEVA Group, becoming the hub for robotic automation for the entire SCAGLIA Group.
Scaglia INDEVA SpA, an Italian company and leader in the production and sale of industrial manipulators, Cobots, AGVs, and modular Lean systems, is part of the Scaglia Group along with the Cysero fund and Neway Industrial Srl, shareholders of SysDesign Srl. The young company active in the robotic automation sector has signed an agreement to enter the Scaglia INDEVA Group.
On March 1, 2024, the transaction closed: Scaglia INDEVA acquired 28% of SysDesign’s capital held by the Cysero fund and participated in a reserved capital increase aimed at supporting business growth. In May 2024, Scaglia INDEVA transferred its INDEVA Cobotics business unit to SysDesign, which is currently responsible for the engineering and sales of Group systems based on AGVs and Cobots, as well as the national distributor of the Doosan Cobot range.
This operation will lead to significant synergies in research and development, production, and effective use of sales networks, thanks to the strong complementarity between the product ranges of SysDesign and INDEVA.
SysDesign Srl, renamed INDEVA SysDesign Srl, aims to provide flexible robotic automation solutions for integrated factories, with a particular focus on the servicing of production lines and intelligent palletizing.
The entire team, along with the founders of SysDesign, the Franceschini brothers, who will retain a significant stake in the new company, will continue to hold their current operational roles, ensuring continuity in management and relationships with clients and suppliers. Thanks to the contributions derived from integration into a major industrial group, they will benefit from the substantial development of current activities.
